Hungarian woman was murdered and later found in the freezer
The convicted sex offender, Zahid Younis, has been found guilty of murdering two women, one of them Hungarian, whose bodies were found in his freezer.
BBC News reported that the remains of Henrietta Szűcs and Mihrican Mustafa were discovered at the murderer’s flat in Canning Town, east London, in April 2019. As the authorities reported, Younis treated the two women with extreme violence, and after murdering them, he put the remains of the dead bodies in his freezer. Prosecutors at Southwark Crown Court sentenced Younis to spend the rest of his life in prison, with a minimum jail term of 38 years.Â
“Ms Szűcs, 32, originally from Hungary, was last seen alive in 2016 and was killed shortly before the defendant bought the freezer in November that year, the court heard”, wrote the portal.Â
The second victim, 38-year-old Ms Mustafa, was last heard from in May 2018. They were “vulnerable women living somewhat chaotic lives”, including periods of homelessness and drug addiction, the court heard. It was reported that Younis purchased the freezer shortly after killing Ms Szűcs “for the sole purpose” of concealing her body. The scene of the crime showed that the two women endured severe violence from the men before the murder.Â
The website of BBC wrote that “they had both suffered numerous rib fractures while Ms Szűcs had sustained “dreadful” head injuries and “Ms Mustafa’s sternum and larynx had been fractured”.
Younis, known as “Boxer”, denied the murder but did admit to putting the women in the freezer. He claimed he had been out when Ms Szűcs died at his flat and did not tell the police because he was “panicking”. The jury was told he paid a man to help him get Ms Szűcs’s body into the freezer and that his accomplice later blackmailed him to do the same with the other body.
